Trust & safety
How we try to keep Alloland safe, and what we ask of you.
How Guides are checked
Everyone who wants to be a Guide applies with a public profile such as LinkedIn. A person on our team reads every application by hand before it goes live. There is no automated approval.
A Guide with a Verified badge has additionally had their profile checked by us. A Guide without one is listed but not yet checked, and is shown as a new Guide. A badge means we looked; it is not a guarantee, and it does not certify any professional qualification.
Staying safe when you meet
A few habits make meetings safer for everyone:
- Start with a video call, or meet in a public place such as a café.
- Do not send money, documents or ID copies to anyone you have met here. Guides never need them.
- Keep conversations on Alloland until you trust each other.
- Tell a friend where you are going, and leave if something feels wrong.
What Guides can and cannot do
Guides share personal experience. They are not lawyers, tax advisers or migration consultants unless they say so, and even then this platform does not verify it. For legal or financial decisions, confirm with the official source or a qualified professional.
The AI concierge
Ask Alloland answers only from facts we have collected from official sources, and shows the source and the date it was last checked. Rules change, so treat every answer as a starting point and confirm anything time-sensitive with a Guide or the authority itself.
Reporting a problem
If someone behaves badly, or you see something that should not be here, write to us at the address below with the name and what happened. We review every report, and we can remove Guides from the platform.
